2023 Christmas Party

Rail and Tram's Xmas Party was held on Saturday 16th December 2023 and commenced at 10am.

Everyone who was able to attend on the 16th did so.  At the close of festivities those shooting left to shoot at 800 Metres and Rail & Tram fulfilled it's duties as Duty Club for the afternoon.

It was a very hot day to be on the range thanks to our Rage Officer and his assistant for their time doing these duties.

2022 Christmas Party

2022 saw Rail & Tram hold it's annual Christmas Party at 10am on Saturday 17 December 2022 at the Club House, there was still a number of people who were unable to attend due to illness and coming in contact with covid 19 and stayed away as a precaution.  We thank those members who attended and those who choose to stay away to ensure the safety of others, we hope to see everyone back on the range in the new year and at next year's Christmas Party.

2021 No Christmas Party was held due to the Covid 19 lock down, shooting resumed for all members from 15 December 2021.

Saturday the 19th of December 2020 saw Rail & Tram hold it's Christmas Party at 10am prior to shooting occurring in the afternoon at 500 Metres.  It was a quieter Christmas Party due to the outbreak of Covid 19 on the Northern Beaches days before and extending to other locations within the Sydney Metropolitan area.  However those that were free of symptons and had not been to identified hot spots came out the club and enjoyed the end of another year which had been greatly affected by Covid.  Hopefully all members and friends will continue to stay safe and well during this trying time.

The 14th of December 2019 saw Rail & Tram hold it's A.G.M at 9am, followed by Presentation day for trophies won during the 2018-2019 shooting year below photos shows our club champions, senior and junior, congratulations to all winners.  Then we commenced our 2019 Christmas Party a picture shows those present below during the photoshoot, a few others were unable to make it until halfway through the party.  A good time was had by all present.  Also our club was the Duty Club and was required to set upthe electronic target system and conduct the afternoon's shooting on the fullbore range, this occurred without incident and a good day's shooting was had by all at 800 metres.

The Christmas shoot always involves the "Parnia Trophy" which is a self nominated handicap shoot, two shooters tied on 120 out of 120, but Steve had alot more super centres than Michael so he won the perpetual trophy for the next year on a count out of super centres, congratulations Steve.

2018 Christmas Party was held at Rail & Tram Club house and a good time was had by all present, unfortunately our photographer was away in Tassie on an extended holiday and was not in attendance so no photos this year, sorry about that.

2017 saw a renovated club houses being used by the various clubs on the range, Rail and Tram held their annual Christmas party at 10am with shooting in the afternoon, a good time was enjoyed by all present.

Rail and Tram members were unable to access their club in 2016 due to the building being undertaken on the rifle range site so it was decided to forego the annual Christmas party.

Rail and Tram celebrated it's 2015 Christmas party on the 12th of December, this year the format was changed to start the Christmas Party at 10am then shoot in the afternoon at 800 Metres, this turned out to be a popular decision after the day was completed. Our oldest member John Dickson 96 years young came out to enjoy the festivities and catch up with his club mates. A good time was had by all those present, we wish all members, friends of R & T and their families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and look forward to seeing you out the range in 2016.

2013 Christmas Party following the completion of shooting, members and their families returned to Rail and Tram's club house where they enjoyed the annual Christmas Party.  Presents were handed out to the children of members and a good time was had by all.
